SB 1479 requires every retailer in the state to participate in an electronic tracking system if they wish to sell products containing pseudoephedrine (PSE). The system links every attempted sale in the state on a 24-7 basis and indicates a “stop sale” if the purchaser has exceeded or is about to exceed the legal limits.
